TENCEL™ has once again eagerly collaborated with Camper on the launch of their Spring / Summer 2023 collection featuring TENCEL™ mini hangtags. The vibrant pre-season collection made using TENCEL™ branded lyocell fibers features bold designs and strong, striped textures. As summer winds down, the collection aims to embody a fresh and laid-back look, with a special focus on creating the perfect material blend for the later summer months that provide the wearer ultimate comfort and breathability. TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers support in this endeavor, making materials soft, lightweight, and durable.

Notably, products in the collection including the ’Pix’, ‘Oruga Up’, “Oruga Sandal’, ‘Right Nina’, and ‘Beetle’ styles, are all made using planet friendly TENCEL™ fibers. The fibers are incorporated with the ultimate goal of eliminating the use of virgin plastic in footwear uppers, using natural materials that achieve both performance and sustainability.

In addition to being made with TENCEL™ fibers, the Spring / Summer 2023 collection proudly featured TENCEL™ mini hangtags to make consumers aware that the shoes are made using responsible fibers. By scanning the QR code on the hangtag, consumers were invited to learn more about the raw material and production process. To further support the industry with the implementation of more sustainable practices, Lenzing developed fiber identification technology that allows brands to physically verify the Lenzing origin of the materials used in their products. This unique identity is ingrained in every genuine TENCEL™ fiber and can be verified throughout the value chain, guaranteeing fiber authenticity from fiber to final product.
