As a recognized leader in sustainability, Lenzing has always been committed to educating and encouraging environmental change for generations to come. To further raise brand awareness and build connections with local communities, Lenzing participated in the Eco Pro Exhibition in Japan from 8^th to 10^th December 2021. Lenzing not only showcased the core concepts of TENCEL™ and VEOCEL™ branded fibers, which include their botanical origin, biodegradability and carbon neutrality, but also provided hands-on opportunities for visitors, especially the younger generation, to learn more about sustainability and the necessity of climate action.

At the Eco Pro Exhibition, Lenzing demonstrated an array of its diverse branded offers and fiber applications covering both textile and nonwovens products, including TENCEL™ Denim, TENCEL™ Active and TENCEL™ Home, and products made with VEOCEL™ fibers, such as facial sheet masks and various type of wipes, through onsite displays and trials. As well as displaying fiber innovations, the exhibition was a great platform for Lenzing to educate the younger generation on the biodegradation process of materials and the importance of maintaining a sustainable life. The interactive activities and workshops were an exciting way to teach these concepts and influence the next generation to lead an eco-friendly way of life.

The TENCEL™ and VEOCEL™ booth received over 3,300 visitors, with nearly 3,000 questionnaires collected. Over 400 people participated in the onsite presentation, deepening their understanding about sustainability and Lenzing’s environmental mission. From retailers to brand partners to the general public, Lenzing will continue to play a central role in driving towards a better future.
