Lenzing E-Branding Service’s new features provide customers added value and improved user experience

Since its launch in 2018, the Lenzing E-Branding Service has delivered value to the fashion, textile and nonwovens sectors by facilitating the traceability of Lenzing’s sustainable fibers and enabling customers to promote them effectively. Fiber brands covered under the E-Branding Service include TENCEL™, LENZING™ ECOVERO™, REFIBRA™, VEOCEL™, LENZING™ for Workwear and LENZING™ for Protective Wear.

Through the Lenzing E-Branding Service, supply chain partners receive digitally signed Certification Confirmation Letters that prove that their products are made of Lenzing’s sustainable fibers. Using the unique Certification Numbers that are provided within, consumer brands are then able to apply through the Lenzing E-Branding Service for licenses and marketing assets relating to Lenzing’s ingredient brands, thus enabling brand partners to promote the sustainable nature of their products.

With staggering growth in the number of users globally, the features of the Lenzing E-Branding Service have been applauded by various supply chain partners and brands.

"At Orsay, we use the Lenzing E-Branding Service to apply for Product Licenses for fabrics containing LENZING™ ECOVERO™ as well as TENCEL™ branded fibers. The tool is easy and efficient and we can save time by using an existing product license to start a new application. We can verify our preferred fiber composition when typing our certification number in the tool which enables us to double check our own recorded data. Thanks to the Lenzing E-Branding Service, we are also able to order swing tickets for free,” commented Agnes Clement, Corporate Responsibility Coordinator of ORSAY, Germany.

To address the online shopping trend that has been accelerated by the pandemic, in November 2021 the Digital Hangtag function was added to the Lenzing E-Branding Service. The Digital Hangtag is available for all licensed partners of Lenzing, and helps brands to enhance their product showcase on their e-commerce platforms. With the Digital Hangtag, consumers are able to recognize products made with TENCEL™ branded fibers easily, learn about their benefits, and make conscious purchase decisions.


To help users navigate through different certification and licensing functions, an E-Branding Helpdesk service has been introduced to provide live support from a dedicated team of Helpdesk specialists. In the initial phase, the Helpdesk will provide support to global customers in English, with additional languages to follow later on. Moreover, an enhanced Expiration Reminder notification service has also been launched, to provide users with guidance on when their licenses or certificates are due for renewal.


“In line with Lenzing’s commitment to provide stronger support to customers, the new E-Branding Helpdesk enables us to provide prompt responses to customers with a human touch. Considering the complex nature of our industry, we have opted to set up a team of Helpdesk specialists who will use their empathy and judgment to provide the best assistance to our customers, instead of following the chatbot trend. In addition, the feedback that we collect will be used to continuously improve the Lenzing E-Branding Service”, said Daniel Leong, Global Head of Digital Customer Experience at Lenzing.
